Caravan of Hope
El Salvador was hit by two strong earthquakes in January and February of 2001. Families in Milwaukee responded by purchasing a school bus and gathering supplies for a Caravan of Hope. Guided by Pastor Walter Baires, a pastor from El Salvador who serves a congregation in Milwaukee, the Caravan drove from Milwaukee to El Salvador along the Pan American Highway.
