Congregation to Congregation Relationships & Other Special Connections in the Greater Milwaukee Synod

Every church is a companion...

The Greater Milwaukee Synod is officially in a companion synod relationship with the Salvadoran Lutheran Church. This means that each congregation in the Milwaukee Synod is a part of the relationship and is invited to get involved.

Sister Parish Relationships...

Congregations within the Greater Milwaukee Synod have the opportunity to participate in the Sister Parish Program of the Salvadoran Lutheran Church. There are currently fourteen Milwaukee area congregations who have relationships with congregations in El Salvador. These congregations have members who serve on the synod committee, provide leadership for educational events, serve as guest speakers throughout our synod, participate in delegation trips to El Salvador, host visitors from El Salvador, work to support the ministries of the greater Salvadoran Lutheran Church, and are incredibly blessed by having strong relationships with communities, congregations and families in El Salvador.
